Description
By far the most accurate and reliable clamping unit is the LEUCO HeatSync chuck. The principle is to heat the holder until it expands and then insert the tool. The holder is mounted and after sharpening it becomes one unit. In other words, a monolithic design. No unwanted run-out between holder and tool. The holder remains with the tool through its serviceable life. At the end of the tools life the holder can be re-used in another new tool.

The HeatSync tool holders provide increased process safety, long edge lives and high machining quality thanks to very high concentricity and repeating accuracy. For right- and left-hand rotation. Chucks can be clamped and unclamped with all conventional shrinking devices.
